Focal Location in Charts
The focal location in
Data Library charts is the location that will be used to generate these charts. By selecting a focal location, you can:
  • Filter the data presented in the charts to only show that location, or
  • Make it easier to compare that location to other locations.

To change the focal location:
  1. Click DATA at the top of the menu on the left side of the page.
  2. Expand the Filters section.
  3. Click the pencil icon next to the Focal Location.
  4. In the Focal Location Picker window:
    1. Depending on the data available in the Data Library, different location categories (nation, province, district, tehsil, etc.) will be available to you.
    2. Enter the details of your desired focal location.
    3. Click SAVE.

Compare Locations
By default, at the province level, most charts will compare the province in your focal location to all other provinces in Pakistan. Similarly, charts at the district level will compare your district to all other districts in your state.

Instead of comparing your location to all other locations, you can choose specific locations to compare to your location:

  1. Click DATA at the top of the menu on the left side of the page.
  2. Expand the Filters section.
  3. Click the pencil icon next to the location category.
  4. In the Update window check or uncheck the boxes for the locations that you would like to compare to your location. Remember to check the box for your location. You will see a list of the included locations under Selected.
  5. Click UPDATE.
